What is it?
Downloadable audiobooks and Adobe eBooks can be accessed with your library card! Items can be downloaded 24/7 from:
www.gadsdenlibrary.org
to your PC, MP3 player, Sony Readers, Nook, Android or iPhone at home, the office, on your laptop at the coffee shop, just about anywhere! It’s completely free, all you need is a valid library card. Sorry, but you can’t download to a library PC.
How does it work?
Go to the Gadsden Public Library website and look for “Online Services” just below the library banner. Move the curser over Online Services and a drop down menu will appear. Move down to “Downloadable Books” and click.
Now you should be on a page that gives a brief description of the Camellia Net. In the lower left corner is “Visit Camellia Net Now”. Click on it and you will go to the downloadable book site.
Once on the Camellia Net site you can browse around to see if they have the materials you want in the format you need. You may want to start with the Guided Tour to introduce you to the site. It will show you how to download the console and how to log in using your library card. It also explains about the different formats that are available. You will learn how to browse, check out, and download materials as well as how to put them on hold. It’s easy and it’s FREE!
